Connector 06 / 08

Slack.

Install the Rally Agent for shared workspace tasks and notifications, or connect personally for user-authorized Slack tools.

Use the Rally Agent

Start work from the Rally Agent DM, mention @Rally in a conversation where the app is available, use a Rally shortcut, or enter /rally. Rally keeps the durable work history in the regional workspace and returns progress to Slack.

A Rally administrator and a paid Slack plan are required for workspace installation. Open Rally’s Home tab in Slack to link your Slack identity, start a task, and manage notifications.

If Slack stops responding

  1. 1

Open Rally → Settings → Connections and find the Slack installation.

  2. 2

Check its Status column. If it says Reconnect required, ask a workspace owner or administrator to use Refresh and complete Slack authorization again.

  3. 3

Open Rally’s Home tab in Slack and confirm your Slack identity is linked.

  4. 4

Retry the original command, mention, or shortcut after the connection reports healthy.

Disconnecting and removing Rally

Disconnecting Slack in Rally revokes Rally’s stored connection. A Slack administrator separately removes the Rally app from Slack App Management when the workspace no longer wants it installed.
