Acceptable Use Policy

1. Your responsibility

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the Terms of Service. You are responsible for your prompts, Customer Content, automations, connected services, recipients, and outputs. You must use Avalon and its tools only where you have authority and a lawful purpose, and you must provide appropriate human review.

2. Illegal, harmful, or abusive activity

Do not use Avalon to:

• violate law, regulation, court order, sanctions, export controls, or another person’s legal rights;
• promote, coordinate, or facilitate violence, terrorism, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, abuse, or credible threats;
• create, solicit, possess, or distribute child sexual abuse material or sexual content involving minors;
• encourage self-harm, eating-disorder behavior, or dangerous activity in a way that materially increases risk;
• harass, stalk, dox, intimidate, or target people based on protected or sensitive characteristics; or
• develop or deploy weapons, destructive capabilities, or systems intended to cause physical harm.

3. Security and system integrity

Do not use Avalon to:

• gain unauthorized access to accounts, devices, networks, data, or physical systems;
• steal or solicit passwords, tokens, authentication codes, private keys, or other credentials;
• create or distribute malware, ransomware, destructive payloads, exploit chains, or phishing campaigns;
• probe, scan, or test Avalon or a third party without permission, or bypass access controls, rate limits, safety mechanisms, or monitoring;
• interfere with availability, overload systems, conduct denial-of-service activity, or use automation at a volume that degrades service; or
• hide malicious activity, launder traffic, or evade enforcement by rotating accounts, workspaces, integrations, or providers.

4. Privacy, identity, and rights

Do not use Avalon to:

• collect, infer, monitor, or disclose personal or sensitive information without authority and a valid legal basis;
• conduct biometric identification, persistent surveillance, or precise-location tracking where prohibited or without required notice and consent;
• impersonate a person or organization, fabricate endorsement, or materially deceive recipients about who is communicating;
• infringe privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, trade-secret, confidentiality, or other rights; or
• submit information subject to professional secrecy, health, financial, education, or other sector rules unless your deployment and agreement are approved for it.

5. Fraud, manipulation, and unwanted communications

Do not use Avalon for scams, fraud, market manipulation, deceptive reviews, counterfeit activity, academic cheating, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or misinformation designed to cause material harm. Do not send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or communications that violate consent, opt-out, sender-identification, or telemarketing rules.

If Avalon sends, posts, or changes something through a connected service, you must ensure the recipient, audience, and content are appropriate before authorizing the action. Do not disguise automated outreach as a spontaneous personal communication where that would mislead the recipient.

6. High-impact decisions

Do not allow Avalon to make final decisions about a person’s employment, housing, credit, insurance, education admission, legal services, medical treatment, or access to essential services without meaningful review by a qualified human and safeguards required by law. Do not rely on AI output as a substitute for licensed professional judgment.

7. Connected services and content

Follow the rules and permission model of every service you connect. Access only resources you are entitled to access. Do not ask Avalon to circumvent a provider’s controls, scrape prohibited content, or take an action that you could not lawfully take yourself. Respect robots, API limits, intellectual-property notices, and confidentiality obligations.

8. Enforcement

We may use automated and manual methods to detect abuse, investigate reports, limit a feature or connection, remove content, suspend access, or terminate an account or workspace. We consider severity, intent, history, risk, and whether a violation can be cured. We may preserve and disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to prevent harm.

When practicable, we will explain the basis for an enforcement action and allow an appeal. Report suspected misuse to support@with-avalon.com with enough non-sensitive detail for us to investigate. Do not email passwords, tokens, or private Customer Content.

9. Changes

We may update this AUP as capabilities and risks evolve. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and additional notice where required.
